The 6th Bicol Business Week kicked off with a motorcade Sunday, June 27, at the Plaza Quezon in Naga City, after which the trade exhibits opened at the new Central Business District II bus terminal parking lot.
Dubbed as “Bicolandias’s Biggest Trade Show, ” it featured 65 booths on Agri-Aqua, ICT, Tourism and Wellness, Renewable Energy, Consumer Goods Expo, Real Estate, and Car and Motor Show.
To invigorate the 6th Bicol Business Week, an exhibitors’ night entertained exhibitors and guests at the site, with a live band and music, singing contest and a raffle draw.
For the last six years, the Bicol Business Week has been an excellent venue for investors, national and multinational companies to explore regional business opportunities.
The event showcased and promoted the best of Bicol businesses; provided new opportunities through business matching with exhibitors coming from other areas in Bicol.
It also provided updates on new investment areas, technologies and product trends; enlightened firms on environment protection programs and prospects in green investments; and offered insights on prominent Bicolano businessmen’s success secrets.
Seminars and fora on franchising, environment and agricultural technologies and business enhancing activities were also undertaken.
The culminating activity of the 6th Bicol Business Week will be the Halyao Awards – the “2010 Businessman of the Year” in the six provinces in Bicol region.
