Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) graduates of the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) based in Southern Luzon area met last August 10 at Camp Elias Angeles in Pili, Camarines Sur for fellowship and election of their new set of officers.
Elected were MGen Ruberto R. Pabustan, Commanding General of the 9ID, PA based at Camp Elias Angeles-president; Sorsogon Vice Gov. Antonio H. Escudero-vice president; LtCol Romeo P. Esplana, OIC 21CRU, AFP Legazpi-secretary; Vida Elvira O. Caparas, COA Region V chief administrative officer-treasurer; Oscar Tabulinal, Catanduanes NFA manager-auditor; and Noel R. Diaz, TESDA Center Administrator, Pili, Camariines Sur-PRO;
Elected business managers were: BGen Celso S. Silvestre, Jr., Asst. Division Commander of 9ID, PA Pili, Camarines Sur; Jose Antonio A. Amparado, retired Naga City Sanggunian secretary; Ma. Amy O. Oyardo, retired DepEd superintendent and BGen Marlou L. Salazar, Commander, 901 Brigade, 9ID PA based in Villahermosa, Daraga, Albay.
Records show there are 24 MNSA graduates presently based in the Southern Luzon area. Among the others are Albay former governor Jose Esteves, Sorsogon former board member Antonio Encinas, Judge Leonor Gerona-Romeo of Gubat, Sorsogon and Orlando Irigo, Jr. of Class 27.
