NAGA CITY – The officers and members of the Bagong Simula Pilipinas Movement (BSPM) held their oath taking ceremony at Bistro Roberto, Villa Caceres Hotel here on Oct. 2, 2010.
BSPM is a national movement borne out of a need for voluntarism. Its advocacy is to develop a community of “committed volunteers and core leaders”.
Some 50 officials from different sectors in Naga City, local government units, and the Women’s Circle in Balatan, Cam. Sur, attended the activity. l
The induction rites started with a luncheon led by BSPM Secretary General Rey Montano. Guests include members of the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity and police officials who welcomed the national organizers and new members of BSPM.
BSPM President Manuel Sanches, a former representative of Rizal province thanked the volunteers for theconveyed a brief message as he endeavors support for the election of Vice President Jojo Binay.
Sanchez said BSPM is designed to pilot through “committed” members and volunteers in promoting the organizational system as a non-political group, thus adheres mainly on voluntarism. – Mareez T. San Felipe
