GMA TV-7 Naga airs ‘iSYU Ngonian’

NAGA CITY  —  Keeping true to its commitment of providing “Serbisyong Totoo” to Bicolano televiewers, GMA TV-7 Naga is set to launch  a groundbreaking public affairs local TV program titled “iSYU Ngonian” that will be shown starting Nov. 22, Mondays to Fridays from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m.

In a press conference at the Board Room of the Avenue Plaza Hotel on Friday, Nov. 12, Cel Amores, GMA’s assistant vice president  for Regional News and Public Affairs, said iSYU Ngonian takes the form of a daily magazine program that will feature stories behind the news, from extraordinary events, people and places, to technological and medical breakthrough and other issues that matters to every Bicolano.

“We are constantly inspired by our Kapuso viewers to come up with something that will not only inform them, but also enlighten, and most importantly empower them to make the right choices and decisions,”  Amores said.

Elmer Caceles, a “comebacking” veteran broadcast journalist, will host the show.  Caceles has years of valuable experience behind him. He was the former main anchor ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol Bicol. He will be assisted by two new talents, Rey Casao and Avril Daja, who will be the show’s reporters.

Arnel Eclarinal, another seasoned TV journalist, will be iSYU Ngonian’s executive producer.
