NAGA CITY — The regional office of the National Telecommunications Commission in Bicol will once again conduct a one-day mobile registration and licensing on Nov. 25, 2010 from 9:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Naga City Youth Center here.
The special activity will facilitate easy access in the registration and licensing of unregistered radio transceivers being used and operated by different government and private agencies or individuals, including mobile phone dealers and retailers and mobile phone service centers in this city and the neighboring municipalities, NTC Regional Director Ariel Padilla said.
On the date and place mentioned, NTC personnel will accept and process all applications for license of new/renewal radio communication network and operator certificates, registration and licensing of all types of two-way radio equipment, including mobile phone dealer/retailer/service centers where corresponding permits and licenses will be released on the same day.
An orientation seminar on radio laws, rules and regulations, licensing procedures and proper handling/maintenance of radio equipment will also be held on the same day.
The NTC team will also receive applications for blocking/unblocking of SIM card and cell phone, as well as complaints on text scam/illegal/malicious text and text spam.
