US Embassy execs visit Iriga City

IRIGA CITY — Two United States (US) Embassy officials based in Manila visited this city Nov. 9 as part of their familiarization tour of the province of Camarines Sur.

Joy Yamamoto and Marjorie Cledera Gaddi, political specialists  of the U.S. Embassy in the country, visited the province to gain  insights on the priority development projects of the province of Camarines Sur including Iriga City.

Yamamoto said that the data gathered during their visit would help the U.S. Embassy earmark funds for chosen programs.

Yamamoto and Gaddi were met and briefed by the different department heads of the city government headed by Secretary to the Mayor Ruben Delos Santos, Tourism head Engr. Nona Vanessa Santiago and City Planning coordinator Benjie Gonzales.  Chin Pineda
