3 ADNU students make it to AYLC ‘11

Three students from the Ateneo de Naga University have been chosen by the Ayala Group of Companies to be delegates in the 13th Ayala Young Leaders Congress (AYLC) on February 8 to 11 this year at Alfonso, Cavite.

They are: Philip Daniel Dy, BSBA Business Management Honors Program (BMHP); Ludel Maiello Mier, BS Accountancy; and Arcci Relloso, BSBA BMHP. All three are third year students from the College of Business and Accountancy.

The three will join 78 other students who successfully passed through a rigorous screening process, which concluded with the panel interviews last Nov. 23-25 last year. Out of the 722 student leaders nominated by 138 top schools and universities nationwide, 153 successfully qualified as interviewees.

Focused on the theme: Leadership: Serving, Transforming, Sustaining., the 81 chosen leaders will embark on a life-changing leadership journey that will deepen their desire for service to the community and love for the country.

The AYLC is the flagship program for youth development created by the Ayala Group of Companies as its concrete expression of its commitment to national development. After 12 years, the AYLC continues to fuel the dream of developing a corps of servant leaders who will contribute to uplifting the lives of all Filipinos.

With 23 delegates now in the list, ADNU is one of the schools which have produced the most number of delegates in the leadership program’s history.
